The Father Fred Foundation is a non-denominational charity providing food, clothing, household goods, financial assistance and HOPE to thousands of families and individuals in crisis living in the five-county Grand Traverse region. Its work is carried out by the efforts of a small staff and 160 volunteers. Funding is entirely dependent on the generosity and creative support of the local community.

Way to Grow is a school-based program for all families with children between birth and five years of age in Grand Traverse County. The HypnoBirthing childbirth method is as much a philosophy of birth as it is a technique for creating a satisfying, calm, and comfortable birthing experience. When a woman is properly prepared for birth, when mind and body are in harmony, nature is free to function in the same well-designed manner it does with all other creatures. HypnoBirthing is a childbirth education series taught in 5~2 1/2 hour sessions.
